We offer TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and spay/neuter assistance for cats in concentrated geographical areas of high need.

Street Cat Community Outreach

Helping Cats and the People Who Care for Them

Twice a month, circumstances permitting, we provide community outreach for residents in a pre-selected area of Morgan County, Indiana. This geographic location is based on the need and our ability to help those who care for cats in our community. Contact us to volunteer as we serve our local community.

Street Cat Community Outreach (SCCO) is a 501c3 nonprofit which means donations are tax deductible.

We are a 100% volunteer organization helping residents get their cats fixed regardless whether they live indoors or outdoors.

Our goal is to fix all the cats you are caring for because we are in the business of street cat prevention!!!

We work with areas of high need fixing community cats through a process called TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). TNR is a process where community cats are humanely trapped, spayed / neutered, vaccinated, ear tipped, and returned to the location where caregivers provide them with regular food and shelter.

“Community Cat” is a term used to describe outdoor, unowned, free-roaming cats. These cats can be friendly, feral, adults, kittens, healthy, sick, altered and/or unaltered.

A caregiver is a person who conducts TNR and provides care to a community cat, but who is not the legal owner.

SCCO believes it is important to also offer spay/neuter services to owned indoor cats in these areas because many times owned cats get left behind unfixed and the breeding cycle continues.
